Held at the dazzling The Theater at The Fairmont Hotel in Dubai, the event brought together over 400 global industry leaders for a night of recognition, connection, and cutting-edge spectacle.
From Humble Beginnings to Global Prestige
What began in 2016 as a bold initiative to honour excellence in a then-nascent industry has since evolved into one of the most prestigious events in the vaping world. The first Vapouround Awards crowned 16 winners and helped spotlight pioneers during a time of early vape kits and limited e-liquid choices. By 2018, as innovation surged with the rise of pod systems and nicotine salts, the number of award categories expanded, reflecting the sector’s rapid evolution.
In 2020, the awards adapted to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic with a fully virtual ceremony—uniting a global community despite physical distance. The following years brought increased scale and ambition, including a luxury yacht ceremony in Dubai (2021), the debut of the Vapouround Global Awards branding (2023), and a growing emphasis on sustainability, regulation, and alternative nicotine products like pouches.
A Show Like No Other
This year, the awards reached new heights with their most extravagant showcase yet. The Theater’s lavish setting provided the perfect stage for an entertainment lineup that included aerialists, fire performers, and live vocalists. Guests were greeted by a Wall of Fame honouring past winners, while holographic 3D sponsor displays added a futuristic flair.
Renowned magician Nick Einhorn, accompanied by an AI co-host, guided the evening—highlighting the sector’s growing integration of technology and innovation.

In addition to recognising 42 trailblazing winners across diverse categories, the ceremony introduced a new and exclusive honour: “Best of the Decade.”
This special category paid tribute to the brands and individuals who have left an enduring mark on the industry over the past ten years.
