Twin Drops Studio presents an innovative tabletop experience where players become master mixers in a race of strategy, creativity, and aromatic chaos.
Bologna, Italy – Twin Drops Studio proudly unveiled Flavor Race at Vapitaly 2025, the leading Italian event for vaping professionals and enthusiasts. Flavor Race was presented at the booth of Genius Vapes, a well-established vaping brand that generously edicated part of its exhibition space to the project. The synergy between product culture and playful design drew attention from visitors and Professionals alike. Flavor Race is the first board game in the world inspired by the universe of e-liquids: players take on the role of expert flavor crafters, combining ingredients, balancing VG/PG ratios, and sabotaging their opponents in a race to create the perfect formula.

The game was showcased to hundreds of curious visitors during the three-day event. Playtesters praised the game’s intuitive mechanics, fast-paced rhythm, and original concept. Many were surprised to learn they were testing a prototype, having mistaken the vibrant graphics for a finished product.
“With Flavor Race, we wanted to celebrate the creative and technical side of mixing, while also inviting people to play, reflect, and smile,” said a representative of Twin Drops Studio. “It’s a light-hearted way to show that this industry is more than controversy: it’s community, innovation, and imagination.”
Flavor Race includes over 30 aromatic formulas, customizable bottle cards, and game mechanics inspired by real mixing practices – all repackaged into a competitive, replayable board game. The game even introduces an ethical layer: players are penalized for using nicotine in their mixes, encouraging cleaner formulations. Beyond entertainment, it also serves an educational purpose, offering a playful yet plausible representation of how e-liquids are composed. The game does not include or promote actual vaping products.
During the fair, several industry professionals appreciated not only the originality of the game, but also the balanced and respectful tone maintained by the team in responding to some polarizing reactions online. While a few social media comments sparked debate, the majority of visitors and players approached the game with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a great sense of humor.
The game will be launched on Kickstarter in October 2025.
