Vapouround has been formally announced as official media partner for the 2018 Independent Vape Industry Conference.
The conference, run by IBVTA, the Independent British Vape Trade Association, is now in its second year and will take place at The Crowne Plaza hotel in Reading on the 26th of April 2018.
Garry Dibley, Membership and Advice Line Manager at IBVTA said:
“The themes and mood of the first conference were coloured by the looming TRPR deadline, which was on everyone’s mind. It was only a month away, and everything we discussed had to be considered in light of its imposition. Now, a year later, we’ve been thinking about the impact it’s had, and more importantly, how the vape industry adapted and continued to operate within its restrictions, and how we can adapt to new legislative changes on the horizon.”
This year’s conference will feature guest speakers from across the vaping industry, as well representatives from external health bodies.
Speakers already confirmed are Martin Dockrell, Tobacco Control Lead at Public Health England and Matthew Birkenshaw from the Department of Health, as well as Vapouround’s Sales Director, Dave Turner, who said:
“We are proud to be the official media partners of the second Independent Vape Industry Conference. The industry needs a voice that can help link together the vape community, policy makers, the scientific community and the public. For anybody serious about supporting this industry, it’s a must attend event.”
Topics to be discussed at the conference range from product development and business growth to developments in vape-related science and research. There will also be practical sessions, equipping businesses with the tools required to survive and thrive in 2018 and beyond.
The event is open to IBVTA members and non-members.
