About as basic as they get, the Wondar 1 Kit designed by Geek Bar aims to offer a fuss-free, reliable and straightforward to use vape device.

Wondar 1 Specifications:

  • 650mAh integrated battery
  • USB C charging
  • Refillable pod
  • Mesh coil
  • 2ml e-liqiud capacity

The unmistakable pen shape, often seen amongst pod systems from various brands, is very similar to the Geekvape Wenax M1 which I have reviewed previously.

The Wondar 1 comes in an array of sleek colours which include Dark Grey, SIlver, Gold Rose, Navy Blue and Black.

Refined, simple and catering very much to adult consumers, I liked the fact that there were no bright colours that may appeal to youngsters.

Light to hold, but weighty enough to exude a quality feel, the Wondar 1 has a miniscule form factor and will fit snugly in any pocket or bag.

With a total lack of buttons, nor a screen, this device is very much a plug and play sort of setup.

Due to the lack of buttons, this kit is draw activated and you are unable to adjust power outputs.

Some may see this as a negative, however, I feel that the absence of buttons/settings allows beginner vapers to easily integrate, without the extra fuss that may put some people off of the idea of vaping entirely.

Battery power and recharging time

Enlisting the use of a fully rechargeable, 650mAh built-in battery, one charge should easily last most moderate vapers a days worth of puffing.

When it comes time to recharge, it takes a mere 45 minutes to get going again.

Performance

Adding to the already basic set up, the Wondar 1 makes use of 2ml, TPD compliant pods with inbuilt coils, this saves time and hassle when it comes time to filling up.

Transparent in colour, it is super easy to see the fill level in the pod, eliminating any instances of overfilling.

The kit comes with a 0.8ohm pod which works fantastically well with high strength nicotine eliquids – another plus for new vapers.

The flavour production was quite decent, and I would say that the draw was more of a restricted direct to lung than a super tight MTL.

Cost

Cost wise, the Wondar 1 is expected to be very affordable, this, alongside its simple set up and operation, makes this kit the ideal choice for smokers and/or new vapers.

Overall thoughts

As a review, I knew this would be precise and to the point, mirroring the refined simplicity offered by the Wondar 1 Kit itself.

I found it to be sufficient, easy to operate, easy to maintain and remarkably user friendly, a perfect side kick in anyone’s non smoking journey.

Pros

  • Super simple to use
  • Battery was sufficient
  • Pods were easy to see through
  • No leaking

Cons

  • I would’ve liked to have an adjustable airflow option
