ADVERTISMENT: Mesh Ad

Possibly one of the smallest in the hard wearing line of Aegis kits produced by Geekvape, the Hero Q seamlessly blends performance and durability whilst retaining a minute stature that will easily fit in the palm of your hand or even the smallest of pockets.

Aegis Hero Q Specifications:

  • Maximum Output: 30W
  • Screen: 0.54” OLED
  • Battery Capacity: 1300mAh
  • Charging: USB C 5V/2A fast charge
  • Auto draw & button activated

Aegis Hero Q Design

Looking at this device, you will immediately notice its distinct square shape, something that is relatively uncommon in comparison with most other pod systems currently on the market right now.

Available in a vast array of awesome colours, there is definitely something for everyone – my personal favourite being the Cyan colour scheme.

With its iconic robust frame, the exterior is simplistic and refined, and features a tiny 0.54” screen displaying all of the important info you may need to see throughout your day – particularly your wattage and battery percentage.

Device & Pod Performance

On the topic of batteries, the Hero Q boasts a surprisingly hefty 1300mAh inbuilt battery, easily lasting a day of moderate vaping.

Charging via USB C is straightforward and does what it says on the tin, powering up in approximately 30-45 minutes or so.

Capable of an output of up to 30W, this kit kicks out an impressive amount of power for such a little device.

The Hero Q comes with TPD compliant 2ml capacity, Geekvape Q Series pods, in both 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm variations, however I chose to use the 0.4ohm (sold separately).

Pairing the 0.4ohm pod, with 20mg nicotine salt eliquid, and pumping it up to the full 30W, you can expect an unmatched, satisfying throat hit and solid flavour production.

Pods are lasting me roughly 8 or 9 days apiece, and flavour remains full and consistent throughout.

The choice of coil resistances offer users a chance to fine tune their vaping experience and you can really customise it to suit your needs.

As I briefly mentioned, the Hero Q utilises the Geekvape Q Series Cartridges, all of which include built in coils, reducing chances of leaking and is just so much more hassle free compared with removable coils, definitely a thumbs up in my books!

Build Quality & Durability

I think where this device truly shines is it’s tough and sturdy structure…the Aegis line of kits have
built up a powerful reputation over the years for their durable and hard wearing build quality.

It’s unique shock resistant design will easily handle drops and bumps of all severities (I don’t recommend chucking it off a skyscraper though!).

Cost

Price-wise, this device is going to be around the £15-£20 GBP mark, depending on where you decide
to purchase it, making it a truly affordable option for those on a budget.

Overall thoughts on the Geekvape Aegis Hero Q

Using this kit is super straightforward and will be suitable for both new and veteran vapers alike, with no complex or unnecessary features.

Versatile, lightweight, dependable and obviously well built, the Hero Q ticks all of the boxes when it comes
to choosing the perfect pod system.

Pros

  • Fantastic colour options
  • Sturdy
  • Small and Lightweight

Cons

  • I am used to a bigger display screen, although I can see that Geekvape wanted to keep the size of this kit on the smaller side.
